Your views, your rate
Filled in with an example post. Type your own numbers; the result updates as you type and nothing is sent anywhere.
At your rate
- Your earnings
- $25
- You keep per 1,000 views
- $1.00
25,000 / 1,000 x $1.00 x 100% = $25, to the nearest cent.
On a ViewPayout bounty
- Gross for the post
- $25
- You receive
- $21.25
- Fee (15%)
- $3.75
Default terms: $1 per 1,000 views, a $50 cap and a 1,000 view floor.
The cap is reached at 50,000 views.
The formula
Earnings = views / 1,000 x your rate per 1,000 views x the share you keep, rounded to the nearest cent.
- Your rate per 1,000 views. If your number is what you are paid for 1,000 views, type it and leave the share at 100%.
- The share you keep. If your number is a CPM, what an advertiser pays for 1,000 views as HypeAuditor defines it, set the share you keep. Mailmodo's YouTube money calculator multiplies by 0.55, which it calls the 55% revenue share a creator receives from YouTube ads.
- The example. 25,000 views at $1 per 1,000 with 100% kept is $25.

The same views on a bounty
A ViewPayout bounty pays a fixed rate per 1,000 verified views, up to a cap per post. A new bounty starts at $1 per 1,000 views, a $50 cap and a 1,000 view floor, and the platform keeps 15% of the gross.
- Gross = the smaller of the cap and views / 1,000 x the bounty rate. Under the view floor, gross is zero.
- You receive the gross minus 15%. The fee rounds down to the cent.
- At $1 per 1,000 views the cap is reached at 50,000 views. Views past that earn nothing more on that post.

Frequently asked questions
How do I turn views into money?
Divide your views by 1,000 and multiply by what you earn per 1,000 views. 25,000 views at $1 per 1,000 is $25. If your number is what advertisers pay per 1,000 views, also multiply by the share you keep.
What is the difference between a CPM and what I earn per 1,000 views?
A CPM is what an advertiser pays for 1,000 views, as HypeAuditor defines it. What you earn per 1,000 views is your part of it. The share-you-keep field goes from one to the other.
How much do 1 million views pay?
At $1 per 1,000 views, 1,000,000 views pay $1,000; type your own rate to see yours. On a ViewPayout bounty one post is paid up to its cap, so at the default terms a post with 1,000,000 views pays the creator $42.50.
Why does the bounty figure stop growing?
Each bounty has a cap per post. At $1 per 1,000 views and a $50 cap, a post reaches the cap at 50,000 views, and the creator receives $42.50 for it. A brand can set a higher cap.
Why does a post under 1,000 views earn nothing on a bounty?
A bounty has a view floor, 1,000 views by default. A post whose highest verified reading is under it earns nothing, and one at or over it is paid for every view up to the cap.
Does this work for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram?
Yes. The formula is the same on any platform that reports views: type what you earn per 1,000 views there. ViewPayout bounties pay for posts on X.
