What each ViewPayout release added, by date: bounties, claims, view readings, payouts, brand balances and the REST API.

## 2026-10-18: Holds, reviews and agent files

- A post that is still private when its hold ends is forfeited, and the brand's reservation for it is released once.
- The automatic review can clear a post on its own only when its worst-case cost to the brand is $12 or less. Anything above that goes to a person.
- Prices, fees and limits on the website are read from the same plan catalog the API uses.
- Agent discovery files: a markdown sitemap and an agents section in llms.txt.

## 2026-10-17: Website published

- Home, how it works, creators, brands, verification, payouts, pricing, docs, about, contact and legal pages, each with a markdown twin, plus llms.txt and a sitemap.

## 2026-10-17: Bounty engine and API

- Brand workspaces, bounties with a rate per 1,000 views, a cap, a view floor, a hold and eligibility rules, and free non-exclusive claims that freeze the terms.
- The fresh-post rules, a draft checker, a review queue for first posts and anything flagged, and brand rejection that releases the reserved money.
- A prepaid brand balance that reserves each post's worst case at submission and commits the real cost at settlement.
- Hourly and then daily view readings, payout on the highest verified reading, forfeit on edit or delete, and a fraud screen that freezes a payout for review.
- The payout math with a 15% fee on each side, creator balances, and cashout requests of $25 or more that an operator approves.
- A REST API, documented route by route in the API reference, and an llms.txt file.
